A 10 week drawing and painting course designed to develop artistic skills and confidence in people with no or little previous experience.
Over the 10 weeks of the course Chris May, our professional art tutor, will introduce you to a variety of drawing and painting media and teach you key skills such as composition, colour theory, tints, tones and shades and a variety of paint application techniques. In short, you’ll learn all you need to know in order to become confident in creating your own, independent artistic projects.
Suited to everyone’s individual personality, Chris’s relaxed and encouraging teaching style gives students the freedom and encouragement to discover the direction and painting style that suits them.
At the end of the 10 weeks we celebrate the work of our students with a Student Exhibition Evening where you can display your best works and show them you your families and friends (we guarantee you’ll have quite a few works to chose from).
Our classes are limited to a maximum of 12 students, allowing Chris to work with each student during each session.
We do not set work outside the class times, we know how busy everyone’s life is; but if you want to do independent work outside the class, Chris will be very happy to give you feedback and advice.
Also because we know life can get very busy at times, if you miss a class you will be able to attend it free of charge next time when we restart the 10 weeks cycle.
£ 225 payable at the time of booking
We provide all the materials and refreshments. Free car park on site.
